Dear Families,

I wanted to thank all of you for completing the consent forms for the H1N1 vaccine. The Hudson County Health Department has not received the vaccine yet. They hope that the vaccine will be available by late November. They are requiring their own version of the parent consent in a three copy format. It was explained to me that the parent consent forms took extra time to be prepared by an outside print company. I offered to pick them up today and will get them out in the book bags by tomorrow.I will keep you informed of any changes. I apologize for the extra paperwork but it really helps to know how many students have signed up for the vaccine.  I will be sure to let you know as soon as I have a date scheduled for the vaccine to be given here at our school.

As a reminder, I will need parents or doctors notes when students are out sick for more than three consecutive days.I appreciate the phone messages to notify me of your child's absences. I am proud to inform you that the attendance rate is very good. Your dedication and follow up care has greatly contributed to your child's good health.
