Today is the 5^th day of school and I am seeing children who did not know each other holding hands at recess and sharing toys. Students are becoming familiar with the building and are bonding with their teachers.  On Friday, the children on the bus all waved goodbye!

Today I had the opportunity to spend some day with the classes and we discussed the importance of a healthy snack. We will send home some snack suggestions by Friday from Peggy Weiss, our Nurse.

We had our first birthday celebration! I am proud to report that the mom in charge brought in rice pudding in Dixie cups sprinkled with chocolate…a healthy choice! We are also aware of allergies and we will offer children an alternative.

There are two forms that we would like completed by Friday: Walking Trip and Photo Release. Please sign them and return to the teachers. We will also post these on the website.
